ACCOMMODATION OPTIONS

In Argentina Spanish we think that not only the course and the teaching of the language are important. We pay great attention to the accommodation, because it is the place where our students are going to pass a great part of their time in our country. For that reason, Argentina Spanish selects the accommodation considering several criteria, like the proximity to the school, the cleaning, the comfort, the facilities they offer, discarding those that do not fulfil these quality levels.

HOMESTAY - Available at all our locations:

Homestay is available throughout the year. Most families live near the school and are rarely more than 15 minutes away by public transport. The majority of our host families are walking distance from Argentina Spanish schools.

Living with a family will enable the student to see and understand many aspects of our lifestyle getting a better knowledge of our culture, traditions, etc, and also is the perfect opportunity to practice your Spanish all the time! Many families have been chosen by Argentina Spanish for this purpose in order to make the stay of our students as pleasant as possible. They will be treated like a member of the family. In case the student is vegetarian, allergic to pets or has any special request Argentina Spanish will do its best to satisfy those specific needs. Once we receive your application form we book a host family for you and we will send you an e-mail including all contact details and information about your host family. Note: The host family assigned can be changed seeing that students that are already living there may decide to extend their stay. You will also have the opportunity to extend your stay. All our host families have the same characteristics.

The families who welcome our students, all have passed a carefully selection by Argentina Spanish, where we considered the level of culture, the affection, the comfort of the house, the atmosphere in the family, the proximity to the school and the cleaning.

A typical house have 3 or 4 bedrooms, 1 or 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, a dining room and living room. Private rooms with own bathroom are available.



PRICES 2009:
- Single room, without meals, 7 nights: US$ 155 per week per person.
For Breakfast included: please add extra US$15 per week.
For Breakfast and dinner included: please add extra US$75 per week.

Our new private apartments are located in downtown Buenos Aires, walking distance from our school, close to all atractions, restaurants, bars, agencies, ATMs, etc.

Our private apartments have Internet connection (Broad band-high speed) for your laptop/notebook. All apartments are new!

Our apartments are located a few blocks to the Obelisk and our school. All our apartments in this building have a balcony facing the street. Luminous apartments. Beautiful and modern style. Walking distance to everything you may need: theatres, cinemas, bookshops, banks, hundreds of bars and restaurants, shopping areas and commercial stores, discos, laundries, internet cafes, gyms, supermarkets, ATMs, all tourist attractions, etc.All apartments have the same characteristics. The only difference: some apartments have one separate bedroom (for 4 persons) and other apartments are studio.bedroom apartments (for 1 or 2 persons). If you come alone you do not have to share your apartment.Please note our private apartments have an incredible demand, so please fulfill booking and payment procedures well in advance.We do not use Real Estate agents. Our private apartments are an unique service for our students.

Note: for stays shorter than 2 weeks the prices are US$ 342 per week for the studio.apartment and US$416 per week for the 1 bedroom apartment.Prices are quoted per apartment (not per person).To book your apartment you just need to pay a reservation amount of 25% of the total amount of your stay. The remaining amount (75%) can be paid directly on your arrival date at the apartment.You can book the apartment for single days (the price is the same weekly price, but divided by 7). You can choose the arrival date and the departure date, year-round.

Late Check in/ Out: US$ 15.- (out of time 9am-6pm, or on Saturdays, Sundays & holidays).The check in time is set at 14:00 but can be changed if there is no other guest in the property before leaving the same day. The check out time is set at 10:00 but can be changed if the property is not rented to other guest the same day that you leave. The rent includes all the property's services and taxes such as: The Property's Common Expenses, Taxes, Light, Gas, Water, Telephone, Cable TV Bills and maid service. The stay and the guarantee deposit are paid on your arrival to the apartment.The rent contract and attached inventory will be signed and you shall pay the rest of your stay plus the corresponding guarantee deposit and the guest received the apartment keys.At the time of the apartment's check-out, the guest returns the property's keys and gets his guarantee deposit back, after checking the corresponding inventory and the apartment's general state. Besides the rental, the tenant must pay a guarantee deposit. This amount will variate accordingly to the duration of his/her stay and category of the apartment reserved (please see the table below). This shall be paid in cash (in dollars or the equivalent in euros or pesos) and shall be reimbursed once the stay has finished. If there are damages, the tenant must pay them in accordance with the cost set forth in the inventory.The guarantee deposit is:
